Listening

I’m enjoying the new albums American Stories by Rostam and Victory Garden by Young the Giant, and discovering past releases I had missed, like Crooked Wing by These New Puritans and Essex Honey by Blood Orange.

It had been a long time since Rostam released a new solo work, which is worth celebrating.

On the other hand, American Stories isn’t exactly what I expected after American Bollywood, but it’s very solid and has won my heart.

Playing

Lately, I’ve hardly been playing anything.

I’m enjoying Forza Horizon 6. I really like the ‘simcade’ driving style of the series, because it’s agile but hard to master if you really want to get the most out of the car. Plus, the new setting is a breath of fresh air. I think it solves a lot of the problems from the previous installment.

I recently beat Dark Souls again. It’s still my favorite in the series. It’s the one that immerses me the most in its world. Dark Souls III, which was the next one I played, has a more fun combat system, but I feel very disconnected from its story.

Watching

I’m watching Spider-Noir. It’s entertaining.

I’m also rewatching Long Story Short, because I think it’s a wonderful sitcom.

Reading

I’m not reading anything. I’m just putting this here to see if I get embarrassed and start reading something soon.
